I have changed my mind

2006

Public interventions with various media: buttons, flags, graffiti, photography.

I have changed my mind is an ongoing project on dogma and public opinion, in which the sentence itself marks a moment of changing dogma and provokes a dialogue. Its meaning is dependent on the context; in Iceland flags were hoisted all around the country and buttons distributed amongst the people. They reclaim a space of independence and autonomy, both of which values are much discussed within Icelandic society, since politics and economy became more and more dependent on ruthless multinational investors while the people themselves seemingly lose influence.
